Where relationships are at the heart of the school and
the school is at the heart of the community

School has reopened!

These pages were created during the school closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic to keep you up-to-date with developments and as a central portal for all things connected to the school closure. School reopened on 7th September 2020 but we will keep these pages live for now.

Keeping up with developments

We are regularly communicating with parents via email so please keep an eye out for those. Copies of all correspondence to date are also here on the website. You will also be able to keep in touch by following our Facebook page

If you need to update your email address please email the office.

Virtual School opened 20th April 2020

See more information on this exciting development on our Virtual School page.

Your physical and mental wellbeing has never been more important. We've pulled together information and resources on our wellbeing page.

Working from home

All the information you need to support learning at home is on our working from home page.

Remember, most staff are working from home so please get in touch by email. Contact details can be found here

Tutors will call home on a weekly basis to check in with you and to see how you're getting on. But these are not "chasing you up" calls; yes, tutors may ask how you're getting on with learning at home, but they are primarily to check you and your family are ok and to offer support from a friendly voice. Make sure you read our wellbeing page if you are feeling at all overwhelmed or concerned about our expectations or your school work.

IT support

A new system for logging IT support calls has been introduced. If you have a question or need support please submit a support ticket here. Your request will then be tracked by Mr Walling and/or his colleagues and they will respond as soon as they can. As you might imagine, they are getting a lot of requests at the moment as well as developing our new on-line delivery system, so please be patient if you don't hear back immediately. They're on it!

Please see our safeguarding page for information on protecting the welfare of students during the school closure. We are still here for students and to support families and will be keeping in touch on a regular basis with those most in need.

SEN support

For information, advice and resources relating to SEN support during the closure please see our SEN support page.

Gallery of work

We'd love to showcase the work you've been doing at home. Send an email with pictures to your tutor and we'll load them up to the new gallery on the website and share as many as we can on our Facebook page
