Return to school arrangements September 2021
As you will be aware, we are required to test all consenting students on their return to school in September, using later flow tests. We must do this twice in the first two weeks and due to the number of tests required we are staggering the return to school and testing some students PRIOR to the start of term.
A letter outlining the arrangements was emailed to all parents on 26th July 2021 - copies can be found here. Please do have a read of the letter to understand the full arrangements. A summary is below.
New parents - CONSENT IS REQUIRED and can be given or declined via ARBOR - please refer to the letter for details on how to do this.
Other parents - thank you for consent previously given. If you wish to add or withdraw consent please let the office know.
Tuesday 31st Aug
New Year 7 pupils (first test) and Year 11 (first test)
09:00 - Year 7 from Swanage Primary
09:30 - Year 7 from St Mark's Primary, Swanage
10:00 - Year 7 from St Mary's RC Primary, Swanage
10.30 - Year 7 from all other primary schools
12:00 - Year 11 girls
13:00 - Year 11 boys
Testing will be in The Swanage School Sports Hall and should take approximately 10 minutes.
Friday 3rd Sept
New Year 7 pupils (second test) and Year 11 (second test)
09:00 - Year 7 from Swanage Primary
09:30 - Year 7 from St Mark's Primary, Swanage
10:00 - Year 7 from St Mary's RC Primary, Swanage
10.30 - Year 7 from all other primary schools
12:00 - Year 11 girls
13:00 - Year 11 boys
Monday 6th September
Year 8, 9 and 10 (first test)
08:00 - Year 8
10:30 - Year 9
13:00 - Year 10
Test only, school starts 8.30am on Tuesday 7th September. Testing will be in The Swanage School Sports Hall.
Thursday 9th September
Year 8, 9 and 10 (second test)
Arrive for normal school day at 8.30am, times to be advised during day.
